The Angular team actually supports and encourages such initiatives. And NgRx is back to what it was supposed to be from the start: A library that creates Reactive tools for Angular, not just state management.

I think it's good because sometimes the Angular team is tied with big projects (such as Ivy) and cannot spend as much time as they'd want on the framework itself.

Such initiatives supplement what the Angular team does, and I'm pretty sure that some of these ideas will get incorporated into Angular at some point.
